Hey folks,

I came on at Dead Frog with a huge opportunity to improve the beers that Dead Frog produced as well as create a new line of beers. Since coming on board I've worked with Derrick Smith, the owner, to add new equipment, introduce new yeast strains, improve the quality of ingredients used, and most importantly educate the staff on what quality brewing is all about.

The first new brew the Dead Frog team and I created was the Fearless IPA, a hop forward, high IBU northwest IPA that we feel could be one of the best in the industry. The reviews thus far have been great and our second brew is hitting shelves in BC this week; the Winter Beeracle, a big bold 7.5% winter warmer.

I am hard at work creating new brews for the coming year as well as revising the current line-up for spring 2013. We have put together a great brew team with experienced brewers as well as some highly talented home brewers who are eager to learn. We have some phenomenal things in the works and we are looking forward to introducing you to the new Dead Frog.

As the Brewmaster I lead the charge on quality at Dead Frog and make sure it is the number one priority for everyone in the company. I've worked with Derrick and Graham (the Production Manager) to consistently add better QC procedures, purchase new lab equipment, and bring a higher level of consistency to the beer. 

With the changes of ownership we will have the freedom to innovate and explore new concepts in craft beers. My passion for the craft beer industry has been spreading to everyone here and we are all excited to bring you the new Dead Frog.
